BasicOperation

TheThrottleknobcontrolshowfastyourtrainwilltravel.

Turnthethrottleknobup½-way,untiltheengineandcabooselightsshinebright.

PuttheengineintomotionbypressingtheDirectionbuttononyourtransformer

once.(holditforapproximately1second)

IftheenginedoesnotbegintomoveassoonasyoufirmlypresstheDirectionbutton,

youmaynothavesentenoughvoltagetothetracktomakethetrainmove.Turnthe

throttleupabithigheruntilthetrainbeginstomove.

Youcanlockyourengineintoadirection(forward,neutral,orreverse)sothatitwillnot

changedirections.Todothis,puttheengineintothedirectionyouwant,thenremovethe

enginefromthetrackandslidetheON/OFFswitchlocatedonthebottomoftheengine

totheOFFposition.Theenginewillnotchangedirection(includinggoingintoneutral)

untilyoufliptheswitchbacktoONtoreturntheenginetoitsnormalcondition,evenif

theengineiskeptwithoutpowerforextendedperiodsoftime.

throttlecontrolknob.Turningitclockwise

willincreasevoltageandspeed,while

turningitcounterclockwisewilldecrease

voltageandspeed.Theenginewillmaintain

thespeedyousetafteryoureleasethe

throttleuntilyouturnitagaintochangethe

voltageandspeed.

-Tosoundthewhistle,

firmlypresstheHorn/Whistlebutton.The

hornwillsoundforaslongasyoucontinue

todepressthebutton.Itwillstopwhenyoureleasethebutton.

Yourtrainisprogrammedtostartinneutral.

Thetrainwillalwayscycleneutral-forward-neutral-

reversewitheachpressandreleaseofthedirection

button.Theengineisprogrammedtorestartinneutral

eachtimethetrackvoltageisturnedofffor25seconds

ormore.
